The great gender reveal of 2013 has finally arrived!!! You have all waited with bated breath to find out the greatest mystery of our generation. Okay, okay. Maybe I am exaggerating your level of intrigue but I am excited to announce here that we are having a baby…
wait for it…
BOY!!!
That’s right. I get to stay queen of the castle over here with princess Lola by my side.
I thought for sure that baby #2 was a little girl. The week before we were scheduled to find out the gender, we had a routine exam and were able to get an unplanned ultrasound. The baby wasn’t cooperating but our Doctor said that if she had to guess she would say GIRL. So you can imagine our shock when that little person decided to cooperate and show us loud and proud that he was in fact a HE.
Jack seems pretty excited but I am not so sure he knows exactly what he is excited about. He talks about the things that will make his baby brother happy; songs, stuffed animals, kicking mommy’s belly. He will make such a loving, sweet and mischievous big brother. I cannot wait to see MY BOYS all together.
With love from Detroit,
Callie

How exciting!!! Can’t wait to meet this little man!

And you are a wonderful friend!

AWWWWW!!!! Love this reveal! The photos were great and you look adorable! Super Super cute idea! Two little boys!! That is so very cool! So…..Jack and ???????
@Linda the credit for the photos goes to my new photographer. It works out well because she is also a babysitter. Thanks mom.
Adorable! Another boy in the Villages!!! Congrats! Much love!
Thank you Kyle. Our boys won’t be too far apart in age. Same gap and Nella and Jack.
Brothers! Very cool Callie, we are super excited. After Skyping on Easter she kept pointing at her belly saying “aunt Callie have baby”. Then she’d point at mine and ask, “you have baby too?” -not sure how to take that one.
@Mittenrefugee when asked where all her stuffed animals came from, Annie Lou replied “I grew them in my uterus.”
Awesome!! Congratulations Callie!! Cute photos — it added to the anticipation in the blog post 🙂
Thanks Stephanie. I just spend the morning looking through your posts on http://www.loveintheD.com
