With Love From Detroit has opened up so many unexpected collaborations and opportunities. Some fit my vision for the site, like working with Detroit Wallpaper Company and some I have to turn down as they want me to attend events or do write ups on things that have nothing to do with the city proper.
Not my latest collabo’! This is a match made in blogging heaven. Olympia Entertainment is offering us our very own Super Group, where you can purchase tickets to shows at the lowest possible price. I sat down with a representative of Olympia Entertainment to pick out a couple of shows that I thought you might like. The first is “Girls Night Out”. This is the perfect ladies night show featuring songs like “I Will Survive,” “Lady Marmalade,” “It’s Raining Men,” “Man I Feel Like a Woman,” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” Who wants to go with me? Maybe grab some dinner and drinks first?
The second is “Sister’s Christmas Catechism.” I went to see this a couple years ago with Ryan’s Aunts and Cousin. This is hilarious and I totally recommend it. Especially if you ever attended catholic school. So much fun, not at all offensive to the faith and the venue allows for it to be a truly intimate show. Be ready to participate.
