I’M ALIVE!!!
Sorry for the lack of posts this week. We have lots to catch up on people. Halloween, end of BUILD, a trip to post Sandy New York and tomorrow’s election (promise not to get political on all y’all.)
Let us begin at…the beginning. (Side note: I think my skills as a writer are improving by the minute.) HALLOWEEN! Had a big girl Halloween with some lady friends at the Detroit Opera House. We danced to our hearts content and ended the night with Hot Taco. Delicious.
Then it was on to small people Halloween (my favorite.) Started with trick-or-treating through daddy’s office building. Jack wasn’t supposed to go to school that day, but I couldn’t let him miss out on the fun.
Next up, trick-or-treat time in our neighborhood. My parents came to see the HUGE turnout they had heard so much about. Let me tell you, the children of Detroit did not disappoint. We had around 700 costumed cuties come through. They were so sweet. One little girl even gave us a drawing she made to say thank you.
And now, what you have all been waiting for. Our family costumes.
