So Detroit didn’t win the World Series. Bummer. After game three I was a bit worried but I never expected to be swept. Well, there is always next year. Take a journey back with me, ten years or so. Remember when Comerica Park almost never reached capacity? Remember when pizza and a pop came with the $13 seats? Remember losing more games than any other team in the AL? We have come so far and we haven’t seen the end yet.
On a positive note, we had the best seats of our life for Sunday’s game. If I had a strong desire to be arrested, I could have jumped up and kissed Verlander (right of Paws.) Thank goodness for self control.
