What a gorgeous day! Seeing as there was a high of 75, Ryan and I decided to have a splendid, little lunch date in Campus Martius. We met in the park and walked to the Guardian Building. There, we got soup and sandwiches from Stella International Cafe (yum) before hightailing it back to the park for a romantic, brown bag lunch date. Gotta keep that spice in the marriage my friends.
The fun does not end there. Oh, no, no, no. After declaring that I have been feeling a bit Waah, wah, waaaaah (gloomy doomy sound), my friend Frankie asked me to happy hour (always the best solution to a poor mood, she said sarcastically.)
So happy I accepted. Time with Ms. Frances is never anything less than superb. Especially time spent at the Detroit Beer Company. Our husbands and wee ones even joined in on the fun. They met up with us for dinner at Small Plates. What a wonderful day downtown.
