I have been in a classroom as both a teacher and a student. Every year begins just the same, with a nervous anticipation that makes it hard to sleep the night before. Will the kids like me? Will they be nice to me?
Tomorrow I will start the BUILD program through D:hive. For eight weeks my instructors and classmates will be helping me develop WLFD into more than just an online journal. My hope is that it will become a resource for other families looking to move to Detroit.
Although I am filled with excitement and enthusiasm, I still have butterflies. Will the budding entrepreneurs like me? Will they be nice to me? And, most importantly, what will I wear?
