What I know about Hudson Paul

With love from Detroit Photo by Dustin Johnston Photography

We are quickly approaching the four month mark for Mr. Hudson Paul. He is sweet, easy peasy and one of the great loves of my life. Here is what I know about him so far:

* He loves waking up. Waking up is his favorite. When we walk into his room in the morning, he squeals with delight. He actually loses his breath he is so happy. This he gets from Ryan. That man wakes up singing. Seriously. Singing. Jack and I, we need a minute.

* He loves having his cheeks kissed. Cheek kissing is the bees knees but the real cat’s pajamas are in cheek raspberries. If that chubby little man starts to fuss, I just zerbert his face and all is well with the world.

* He is ticklish. Around his neck, belly, armpits, thighs… pretty much everywhere. He chokes on his giggles (common problem) and my heart explodes.

* He sneezes with his entire body. It never fails to shock him and when he is finished he sings a sweet, satisfying sigh that sounds like “hummm.”

* He loves peace and quiet. If we have guests here or Jack and Ryan are wrestling and running a muck, Hudson is happiest alone (with mommy) in his room.

What I know about Hudson is that he fits perfectly into our family. It’s like he was made for us or something 😉

I think we will keep him.

With love from Detroit,

Callie

So cute! My favorite was the part about waking up. I have seen Ryan “sing” in the morning (and you needing that minute). Love it!
