What a fun little Saturday in Detroit. We rolled out of bed and into Russel Street Deli for a quick breakfast. We were seated immediately and were able to eat and run in time to make our next destination.
We were off to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for the Tiny Tots Concert series. The DSO opened a room that felt more like a gymnasium than a theatre. As we entered, we were offered a cushion for our bottoms and quickly found a spot on the ground to claim as our own. Right next to our friends/neighbors Frankie, Matt and Penelope.
Last Year
Now, last time we went to one of these concerts Jack was not having it. He was glued to our laps and stared glassy eyed at the musicians. Not sure if we should try again, I bought our tickets for Saturday with high hopes.

This time, from the moment the Flannery Brothers began their kids rock, Jack was hooked. He was jumping, dancing and running like a fool. Where on earth did he learn to behave this way (insert sarcastic eye roll.)

I look forward to the next Tiny Tots concert with The Chenille Sisters. I remember seeing them as a kid and I am excited to share their music with my son. “FULL CIRCLE MOOOOOMENT!!!” (she shouted in her best Oprah voice)
With love from Detroit,
Callie

Jack’s got some moves! Next year we will have to take Vivi!
He gets his “rhythm” from me. It’s pretty awesome.
I just showed this to Eve and she said, “I want to see Ryan dance!”
Hahaha. It is fun when Uncle Ryan starts dancing.
