Jack has a new favorite book. It is called Too Many Toys and is about a little boy who has…(ready for this?)…TOO MANY TOYS. The idea behind the book is that all you need are the simple things but Jack doesn’t seem to understand that “too many” is a bad thing. He just sees that this kid is loaded in the toy department. So, naturally, the book has become a nightly must.
Let’s just say that after Christmas morning, our little man looked around, wide eyed and said “Jack has too many toys.”
That’s it. Time to pull out the donation bins.
Now, why did I say “Bah! Humbug!” to Christmas? If you look at the above pictures you will see I am absent. That is because I was crazy sick the entire night before, waking every 45 minutes to pray to the porcelain Gods. Yuck.
Thankfully, I was the only one in the family who got ill. Which allowed for my boys to enjoy a day filled with “too many toys.”
