Howdy y’all. Jack’s Wild West second birthday was a success. How do I know? Because Jack had a ridiculously good time and so did we. Thank you to our friends and family and everyone who helped make it a special day.
Now, let me bombard you with pictures.
Oh man, Jack loves balloons. This one went outside and was never to be seen again. Difficult moment for Jack but it was quickly made better when he saw his new bike.
Jack was so excited about his presents and has had fun playing with all of them, especially this Radio Flyer tricycle.
Thank you Ashley for helping me with food and for decorating Jack’s cake. You are my Martha.
Birthday meltdown. Time for cake and presents.
Singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Jack.
Jack had practiced blowing out candles all month. Nailed it.
What a beautiful day to celebrate our little man. I cannot believe he is two (cliche I know.) He no longer a baby and that’s a little hard on me. At the same time, I love that he is talking, playing make believe and becoming more and more independent.
I love planning parties like this one. Decorating the house and inviting people in. But next year, we might just order pizza and have it somewhere else. Less cleaning that way.
With love from Detroit,
Callie

That looks like some rootin-tootin, rowdy, cowboy awesomeness. Nice work sis. Wish we could have been there. Can’t wait to see you three over Christmas…. or sooner, should you want to come visit.
