Happy Father’s Day to my amazing husband. Jack lights up when you walk into the room. When you are gone, he pretends to call you on the phone and says “Hi Daddy. Love you Daddy.” He is a mini clone of you in so many ways. He has energy for days, loves to make us laugh, wants to take as many risks as I will allow but is also thoughtful and sometimes very serious. We love you. Thank you for being so wonderful.
Now, to my dad. Thank you for all the ways you love and support me. I remember talking to you on the phone after having gone through one full night of contractions that were six minutes apart. Exhausted and in pain, when you asked what you could do to help, all I could say was “Go through labor for me.” And in the most sincere way, you responded “Callie, if I could, you know I would.” I started crying and writing this now it still brings a tear to my eyes. Love you dad.
I have an awesome father-in-law. John, thank for showing Ryan how to be a fantastic father and husband. You are generous, funny and give us so much love. We love you and are so grateful for all that you do.
