With only a two month age difference, Jack and his cousin Eve already have a special bond. Watching them together melts your heart. They hug, kiss, play and carry on conversations that no one else can understand. Wait, I take that back. We did understand when Jack would hide and say “peekaboo” “beebeeboo” and Eve would find him and say “I see you” “ah see oo” (her words are far clearer.)
On Sunday we were all together at my parents’ house. Jack wore himself out, playing with Eve and my cousin Hannah. Having exhausted every ounce of energy, he slept until 9:15 this morning. This was so unlike him I had to go in his room a few times to check his breathing. Glad to report everything was a-okay.
We wish Cousin Eve, Auntie Jo and Uncle Steve lived closer but will have to settle for visits every couple of months.
With love from Detroit,
Callie

Eve slept until 9 TOO!!! LOL 🙂
We wish we lived closer too…who knows what the future will bring…can’t wait to see you in August xoxox
They’re pretty amazing aren’t they?! We’re lucky to have them, I wish they could hang out every week.
I just love seeing pics of the kids! They are growing sooo fast. My gosh Eve looks like Steven with pigtails 🙂 Noah’s always had a really special relationship with his cousins, in no time they will be getting in to trouble together. Thanks for sharing Callie.
They are growing up very quickly. We were just home for a quick weekend and Eve and Jack really do get along well. Cousins rule.
And…, the pig tails definitely look better on her. I tried that look in Montana.
Let’s just refer to your Montana days as your “Lost Days”. I am happy you have now found your way (to a beautiful wife that keeps you well groomed.)
These pictures are too precious!
