The great thing about buying a house in Detroit is the square footage. We bought a 4,600 sq. ft. home for the price of a small condo in the suburbs. With that space, we were able to build a large play room for our little man. The project is yet to be finished but here is a little sneak peek. The carpet is actually individual tiles from FLOR, shelf is the EXPEDIT from Ikea and the black wall is a chalkboard.
My hope is to add fun artwork, orange pillow, colorful baskets, a reading corner and dress up station. What else should a “dream” play room have?
