Like most parents, I have to come up with creative ways to get things done around the house. Thank heavens for Pinterest (amiright!) But even the best of plans can turn into something totally different.
In an attempt to do 3 days worth of dirty dishes (least favorite chore, yuck) I set up “Clean Painting” on the windows. Just squeeze some paint into plastic bags, tape to a window, floor or wall and let your little one squish and move the paint all around sans mess.
Jack found the paint entertaining for all of 3 (maybe 4) minutes. But the tape, the tape was where the real fun/distraction was. He secured and re-secured the plastic bag to the glass and when that got old, he decided to make a pair of “roller skates.”
Clean Painting=FAIL
