High school Spanish class is a great place to meet the man of your dreams. (Even if at first you don’t realize that the slightly nerdy guy you copy homework off of is the love of your life.) I knew I liked him and I was always happy to go to fourth period but one day it all changed and, in an instant, I knew. Ryan was my main squeeze and that’s just the way it had to be.
Yesterday was the 11 year anniversary of the day Ryan officially asked me to be his girlfriend. (He showed restraint by waiting until our third date.) Just have to say, I love that man more and more every year. Which is funny because he can drive me crazier and crazier every year too.
Doesn’t really matter. There is no one else on earth I would rather share life with. I am proud of the man he is, respect him, love him and (most importantly) still really like him.
Ryan, I know you are a private person and that you won’t like this post but you are the bees knees and I just wanted to share that with the world. Love you.
With love from Detroit,
Callie
P.S. The above picture is from our Senior prom. What a couple of BABES!

Awwwwww! This post is super sweet. Awesome picture 🙂
I didn’t know you and Ryan met in high school Spanish class!!! Tom and I did too. August 2000, but we didn’t start dating until March 2001. Must be something romantic about that Espanol. Hope the pregnancy is going well- you look fantastic!
I think the romance lies in all the verb conjugation.
