Everyone, including Ryan, raves about Mudgie’s. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about so Tuesday afternoon I treated myself to a lunch date with a friend. I couldn’t pass up the Madill, as it was advertised as having been voted onto “Detroit’s Top 21 Sandwiches List.” (I just want to know who ate all the sandwiches Detroit has to offer in order to create such a list.) My friend Carrie ordered the Kenna (chicken salad, avocado and Havarti on pumpernickel.)
We split both sandwiches and according to my taste buds the Kenna was a solid win. Muy delicioso and worthy of all the fuss. Great place to grab a casual and quick bite to eat. But come hungry. These sandwiches are HUGE.
