It’s okay.

  • It’s ok to celebrate a really hard workout with a glass of champagne.

  • It’s okay to take your own glamour shots because you are having a really, I repeat, REALLY good hair day.
  • It’s okay to use your child’s nap time to pamper yourself, even when there are dishes in the sink and laundry to be done.

  • It’s okay to wear things that you love, even if he hates them (i.e. this lipstick or the giant red heels not in the picture.)

  • It’s okay to be a stay at home mom that uses daycare twice a week. If it makes you a better mommy, go for it.

  1. Conversely, as a father, it’s also okay to go golfing with your buddies on a whim. To celebrate a hard days work with a night of beer and music at the Corktown Tavern. It’s okay to wear your old college jersey even when she hates it. But when you’re having a really great hair day… best to keep that one to yourself fellas.

  2. Sister Ashley (not a Nun) says:

    Second (are those raspberries? fancy!).
Second (lovely robe, whoever picked it out must be awesome). Second (Duh, #manrepelaway #redlips247).
Second (how else would you work out and have champagne?).
